Junior Project Officer

£29,200-£32,150
Location: Bradford

About the role:

The Junior Project Officer role is for individuals wanting to develop their skills, knowledge, and experience on project management, while further developing their geophysical knowledge and experience.

They are responsible for managing the lifecycle of geophysical survey projects from commissioning, through fieldwork, reporting and project closure. This may entail managing several projects simultaneously, likely at different stages in the project lifecycle. Additional oversight and/or management may be provided on projects that are particularly complex, risky, and/or long in duration.

Capacity for fieldwork should average 40-50% of the time, with an emphasis on supervising complex and/or non-standard projects, and training and development for junior staff members. They are responsible for leading the planning on survey strategies during fieldwork, including large, complex, and non-standard (e.g. GPR, EM, multimethod, etc) projects.
