Learning and Development Coordinator

About the role:

The Learning and Development Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation and evaluation of our training activities They will need to ensure that our learning and development actions support the company’s strategic aims.

They will develop an annual and ongoing cycle of training and development opportunities and will work closely with the Senior Management team to identify and respond to the development needs of the group. Their remit will extend from organising one off training courses to developing our internal progression routes.

They will also work closely with our managers to ensure that learning and development activities are tracked and monitored.

This role sits within our HR function. As such it’s a role that requires a proactive approach, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for continuous learning and development. The coordinator must be adaptable to the changing needs of the company, ensuring that the workforce remains skilled and competitive.

This role will be office based but will require occasional site visits for training purposes. These site visits may require staying away, depending on the survey location. There may also be occasional conference/meeting attendance requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in learning and development, training, or related activities.

• Experience with Learning Management Systems and/or data management experience.

• Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and be accountable as well as being able to multi-task and deliver in a fast-paced environment;

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (grammar, spelling, punctuation, style) with strong customer service expertise;

• Effective interpersonal communication skills, able to build relationships with diverse individuals across the organisation.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage time appropriately;

• Working under pressure in rapidly changing environment

• Proactive individual who takes initiative in role and can work with autonomy.
