About the role:<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Geophysicist (Supervisor) is a burgeoning technical leader in the Company. They are responsible for supervising day-to-day activities on geophysical projects, including both fieldwork and reporting elements. They are responsible for leading the planning on survey strategies during fieldwork, including large, complex, and non-standard (e.g. GPR, EM, multimethod, etc) projects.<\/p>\n

They are responsible for ensuring their office and fieldwork work hits or exceeds targets and deadlines. Additionally, they will play a key role in staff development and training, as well as feeding into the development and support of analysis, technical and research activities within the company.<\/p>\n

Capacity for fieldwork should average 40-50% of the time, with an emphasis on supervising complex and\/or non-standard projects, and training and development for junior staff members. This role will also entail line management of junior staff.<\/p>\n
