Project Officer

Sean Parker

Sean began with archaeology while studying a BSc Hons Degree in Archaeology and Forensic Science. He enjoyed digging and surveying in the outside world throughout the degree and continued to increase his experience with multiple community digs after.

In 2010, Sean started his career in geophysics working for Bournemouth University, Stratascan and Phase, increasing his geophysical knowledge and leading teams using multiple techniques and a variety of sites. In his most recent work at APS, he was running the geophysics department and spending time in the field, excavating a wide range of archaeological features.

Now at Magnitude, Sean is a Project Officer arranging and reporting on our wide range of projects with a good mix of archaeological and geophysical know-how to make sure his reports are as accurate as possible.

In his time off, Sean is constantly climbed on and active with his two children visiting national trust properties (play areas) and soft play spaces. Aside from this he is a miniature wargames enthusiast playing both historical and sci-fi games with the odd bit of DnD rolled in.
