Paul joined Magnitude as a Director in March 2020 at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and is an archaeologist and geophysicist with extensive experience of both the commercial and academic sectors in the UK, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. He has worked as a member of a series of major international project teams, and has published widely, especially on Roman townscapes. Paul is also a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London, Chair of the Archaeological Prospection Community within the European Archaeological Association, and a leading member of the International Society for Archaeological Prospection where he currently serves as ISAP Fund Secretary.

Paul has recently become an adopted parent to one of the neighbourhood cats, and spends most of his free time cycling, playing the guitar, and watching the Boston Bruins play Ice Hockey.
