Finn graduated from the University of Liverpool with a BSc in Geophysics before completing an MSc in Archaeological Prospection from the University of Bradford. He started a PHD on the use of Three Axis Fluxgate Magnetometers in Archaeology, before deciding that academia was too slow and his time could be better spent developing these in a commercial setting.
While at work he concentrates on ensuring that Magnitude remains at the forefront of Archaeological Geophysics by managing the development of new systems and software. He is also a member of the CIfA Advisory Board.
Outside of work he enjoys walking his dog Laika, building Lego and Scuba Diving.
