Akinola Akinumiju

Akinola is a scientist with a background in Geography and postgraduate training in Geographic Information System, Remote Sensing, Geosciences, Ecology and Environmental Science. He has vast experience in field-based research and project management. Akinola focuses on the deployment of geospatial technology to enhance geodata collection, analyses and interpretation.

Akinola has been involved in numerous field-based/desktop consultancy projects, including archaeological geophysical studies in the Tropics. As a lecturer in the university, Akinola has also served as a principal investigator and co-investigator for many international projects. Prior to joining Magnitude Surveys, Akinola was a Visiting Lecturer (Project Management option) in the School of Architecture and Built Environment, University of Wolverhampton, UK. He has published widely in several reputable international journals. Akinola is a member of American Geophysical Union, Association of American Geographers, and International Cartographic Association (by extension).

Akinola is actively involved in charity, environmental awareness campaigns, and pastoring. He loves pets, particularly dogs and cats.
