Becky graduated in 2012 with a Masters in Geophysics from the University of Leeds (including a year spent at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand).

Following her degree, Becky spent 12 years working her way up the ranks in a predominantly utility mapping company (she still has to rein in her inner utility surveyor when someone spots an oil pipe marker post in the field!) all the while throwing in a wide variety of other near surface geophysical surveys. 

Joining Magnitude as a Project Officer at the start of 2025, Becky can often be found dishing out high-fives for a job well done and claiming she doesn’t speak ‘farm’ fluently yet (we’re not sure how long that excuse will last!)

Outside of work Becky is working on racking up a mountain of airmiles to spend on her next travel adventure, and can often be found either running, or making up an excuse not to run.
