Struan studied archaeology at The University of Edinburgh, and after messing about on and under Scottish seawater for a couple of years he started his commercial archaeological career with Magnitude in 2024.  Somehow he convinced the right people to let him operate power tools in Technical Operations and has been there ever since, building a skill set on the less archaeological side of archaeological geophysics (he still loves a good bit of archaeology though!).  After a mysterious absence in the first half of 2026 he returned to his stable employment in the workshop, ready to survey and technical support surveys harder than ever before.   In his free time Struan enjoys hillwalking and running, snorkelling and freediving, movies, music, and history and politics.
